SER Fellows

The Southeastern Region Fellows is an award given to those who donate $500 to the Southeastern Region for the support of student scholarships to the SER sponsored summer music festivals.

To qualify, you must be a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs, send $500 to the Southeastern Region Treasurer, fill out this application and send it to the Southeastern Region Insignia Chair. The ceremony for the Southeastern Region Fellows will be in July every year at the Southeastern Regional Meeting (Federation Weekend) at one of the festival locations.

The recipient will be recognized at the Regional Luncheon of the National Federation of Music Clubs Convention/Conference in June every year. The first 50 donors will be Charter Members.

Southeastern Region Fellow Medallion
The front represents:

  • Sun- Represents the summer music camps and festivals of the Southeast
    that NFMC SER supports.
  • Mountains- the Appalachian mountains in the Southeast.
  • Water –
    1. The streams and creeks of the Southeast
    2. The rivers and lakes of the Southeast
    3. The Gulf of America / (Gulf of Mexico)
    4. The Atlantic Ocean

The back represents:
A Hurricane (which affects all the Southeast) with 13 Notes which
represent each of the states and districts in the southeast.

A Pin is included – it be just like the front of the medallion.
It will come in a velvet box with a blue ribbon to wear around your neck.
