The National Federation of Music Clubs – Southeastern Region (NFMCSER) is a component part of the National Federation of Music Clubs.
The purpose of this organization is to bring into working relations with one another, music clubs and other musical organizations and individuals directly or indirectly associated with musical activity for the purpose of developing and maintaining high musical standards; and aiding and encouraging musical education; and the promotion of American music and American artists throughout America and other countries; and to cooperate with the National Federation of Music Clubs in the specific plans for the advancement of music.
The Southeastern Region consists of 13 states: Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia. Each state has a State [name] Federation of Music Clubs.
Any organization, musician, or individual belonging to a state federation in the Southeastern Region is a member in the Southeastern Region in accordance with the Bylaws of the National Federation of Music Clubs.
