Our mission is to advance and develop American music and musicians.  I hope you will search this site for organizational and historical information, competition and award opportunities, festival information, division and program activities and publications. Fellow board member Helen Dingus passed away May 22.  Helen had served as editor of Music Clubs Magazine, and was on the national board, SE festivals chairman, SE editorial board representative and the Gretchen VanRoy scholarship chairman at the time of her death.  Funeral arrangements are pending.   Cards can be sent to Doyle and family at 610 Camborne Ave NE, Fort Walton Beach FL 32547-1703.

Longtime Federation member Walter Strasser passed away May 9, 2013.  Walt is the spouse of Junior Keynotes Editor Mary Angela Strasser.  Arrangements are incomplete at this time but cards of condolence can be sent to Mary Angela at 11680 Riverview Drive, Hibbing, MN 55746.
